This is my granddaughters FAVORITE meal, so I make it every time she comes down. The only thing I do differently is I add a few Tablespoons odds soy sauce. I live this recipe!!!!

Delicious and easy! I used tenderized venison tenderloin. My husband put the gravy on biscuits the next morning for breakfast. Will definitely make this again!

Way too easy!!

I followed the recipe exactly but found it to be lacking in flavors. I doubt I will make it again.

Turned out wonderful. Didn't have the herbed cream cheese on hand, but plenty of spices which I added to the cream cheese I had. We both loved it. Will do it again

My husband just loved this... I did what it said. Turned out perfect. Thank you for sharing!!! Oh he said don't share with family members. Because he wants us to cook for them. He he.

I will make a couple of changes: Cook less time and add mushrooms when there are about 2 hours left.

This was a great recipe! I could not find herb and garlic cream cheese so I just used regular and it tasted great. I found that it only took about 6 hours on low for the beef to fall part and be tender. I served mine plain with a side salad instead of rice or pasta. It was like a hearty soup-I loved it!

Cream cheese with garlic and herbs can be hard to find. I had success using light, plain cream cheese, adding garlic, bay leaf and basil from the start. It 's a good idea to skim-off the fat prior to adding the cream cheese. It would be great if someone would recommend a compliment of herbs/spices to use with plain cream cheese!

Pretty good. Prepared on the stovetop using shaved steak and chive and onion cream cheese.

I usually have good luck with Allrecipes, but this was my first stinker. This got a unanimous thumbs down from the family.

too soupy and the chopped raw onions didn't mesh well with the milk this might be better with powdered onion soup and no milk/no onion. I did like the mushrooms but overall, it was just entirely too much liquid

I followed the recipe except for onions as I am allergic but I used onion powder. Oh my. How delicious...

really good flavor. I used reduced fat cream cheese, but had garlic and herb seasoning. I added two tablespoons of that while cooking. i also used lower sodium cream of mushroom soup. My personal opinion, use egg noodles next time instead of fusilli.

Started off just as written. High for 3 hours, 1 more hour after adding in the cream cheese. This is when I started making changes as it just wasn't coming together. The last half hour I left the cover off as suggested in another review to help thicken it, and it worked, until I covered it again as I waited to serve it. Got too thin and watery. The sour cream garnish only slightly helped. Sauce was bland so I added some salt. Still wasn't doing it for me so I added quarter tsp of better than bouillon. Was still missing something. Beef chunks had no flavor. Needs another hour to soften up. Would do a different recipe I saw on here that calls on seasoning the meat, adding beef bouillon and red wine.

I love it. I was able to find the herb and garlic flavored cream cheese - what a difference! I put a little less milk in and added a little red blend wine - I will definitely be adding this recipe as a keeper!

Outstanding!

Could not find herb and garlic cream cheese so used regular cream cheese. Dish was very bland, even though I added salt and pepper during the cooking process. Also, the 1 cup of pasta is not nearly enough. Will not make this again.

This was just okay to me. I thought the dish was a bit bland and needed something to add more flavor.

The whole family enjoyed this, definitely a crowd pleaser.

Mine smelled delicious, but was very very bland. We had to dump a lot of salt and pepper in after playing up just to give it flavor. I'd perhaps double the amount of Worcestershire sauce perhaps, but I'm not sure. It definitely needs more flavor.

Very good. I have been making a similar recipe with more ingredients for years now. This one is simpler and just as delicious. I added salt, pepper, dry basil, garlic and 2 bay leaves because I used Neufchatel cheese instead of the garlic herb cream cheese. Will make this again. Thanks for the recipe.

I made this recipe in a slow cooker. It was very very bland and thin, it may just be my taste but the onions were overdone while the meat was not tender. I will go back to my old recipe.

We followed the recipe. It was soupy after 5 hours on high in our 1980 Crock Pot and that was after melting in the Philly Cream Cheese Spread – maybe regular block cream cheese would have thickened it more. We saved it by boiling up 12 Oz of fusilli 2 minutes short of al dente. After draining the pasta, it was put back in the fusilli pot. The contents of the Crock Pot was poured over the pasta. Several minutes of stirring caused the starch on the pasta to thicken the soup and the pasta absorbed some of the liquid. The end result was quite good. I suggest that next time a tablespoon of red wine vinegar or white vinegar at the end of cooking in the Crock Pot would add some zip to the recipe. I think that a better name for the recipe would be Beef and Noodles rather than Stroganoff.

OMG!!! Extremely easy and so tasty. The only adjustments I made was to season the beef before adding all the ingredients together. It was so quick to put together, I wouldn't change a thing

Make it on the stove top instead of the slow cooker and added a couple a beef cubes. The kid kept coming back for this one, seconds, thirds...until it was gone. Great flavor

This was good, a nice base, but it was super thin, even though I used the full 8oz block of cream cheese. And it was oddly bland. I'd added salt and pepper but will definitely make sure to add some herbs next time as well. And maybe coat the beef with flour and do a quick brown on it to help thicken up the sauce.

This is very similar to my recipe only thing different is I like Burgundy wine added to mine..

Came out great even though the beef stew meat was in the freezer a long time

This was delicious. Both kids rated it 5 of 5. I omitted the whole mushrooms & had to use chive and onion cream cheese but it did not hurt it any. We served it over rotini pasta because no stores here carried fusilli. I will definitely prepare this again!

awesome super easy

Very quick and easy to make. Next time I make it I'll tinker with the ingredients.

Delicious! I substituted the cream cheese with garlic and onion goat cheese. No other changes! Suggestions for those with too liquid results: open crockpot for last 30 minutes and let the sauce thicken this way. Loved this and will make again!
